Acolyte Ministry
Acolyte Ministry
Our young men have the honor of serving at the altar, and we'd love for your son to be part of it! There's no rigid process, boys age seven and up are welcome to start serving, with maturity mattering more than age. We especially love seeing fathers serve alongside their younger sons. As we grow into our new sanctuary, we're excited to offer more structured training and new vestments for our acolytes.

50 Hours of Prayer
50 Hours of Prayer
The 50 Hours of Prayer Ministry is offered twice a year, usually in February and September, and entails three consecutive days of continuous prayer. 23 teams pray Akathists to the Trinity, Christ, the Theotokos, Saints and Prophets. Services are also celebrated in this vigil and include: (3) Orthros/Divine Liturgy, (2) Ninth Hour, (2) Great Vespers, (2) Compline, (2) Midnight Office, an Euchelion which is the making of Holy Oil for healing and a Paraklesis to the Theotokos. At the conclusion of the 50 Hour Prayer Vigil, we have a victory celebration/fellowship with a bar-b-que and music.
